FAITHROCK KIDS

OUR PURPOSE

FaithRock Children’s Ministry exists to encourage and partner with parents in teaching their children to love and obey the LORD through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to bring them to a point of F.A.I.T.H. where they can be:

Friends forever (Fellowship)
Adoring God (Worship)
Inviting others (Outreach)
Training in God’s Word (Discipleship)
Helping everyone (Ministry)

SUNDAY MORNING

  Your kids are invited to FaithRock Children’s Ministry during both our 9:00am & 10:30am services.  Kids 3 years old through 5th grade begin each service all together praising the Lord.  After song time, kids are dismissed to age appropriate Bible classes where they enjoy learning to follow Jesus through a variety of activities. 

We also have a dedicated staff who welcomes our littlest ones, infant through age 2, in our nursery and toddler room.

MIDWEEK MEETINGS

We have two different programs that alternate during the year on Wednesdays from 4-5:30pm:

FAITHROCK KIDS CLUB

This program is designed to help guide your children to a stronger relationship with God. Through Bible stories and fun activities, kids will explore how to be strong in the decisions they make and in relationships with others.

KIDS PRAISE CO.

During this season, we have a fun time every Wednesday rehearsing a musical while learning important principles for living a life devoted to God. There are three performances, one on a Saturday evening and during both services on Sunday.

SPECIAL EVENTS

In addition to Sunday mornings, we offer several events throughout the year that serve as great ways to invite a friend to know the Lord and us. They include: Joyful Entry Celebration, Winter Camp, Vacation Bible School, Harvest Party/Trunk or Treat, Jesus’ Birthday Bash, & Christmas Caroling.

PARENT INFORMATION

CHILD/BABY DEDICATION

Classes and events are held twice a year for parents wishing to publicly express their desire to nurture their young ones in the ways of the Lord and to invite the people of the church to also extend their encouragement and support.

JOINING GOD’S FAMILY

Classes for elementary aged students who are interested in, or have questions about, making a personal decision for Jesus or being baptized. Held throughout the year. Contact Mary Bramlett for more information.

NURSERY

Little Blessings Nursery is a very special ministry at Pomerado Christian Church. We care for babies and toddlers from birth to two years old. Our aim is to show these littlest children the love of Jesus through Bible stories, songs and activities. We encourage the children to love Jesus and one another while having fun.  We are blessed to have an excellent volunteer team who cares for and nurtures the children.

The nursery is open during both services on Sunday mornings.
