Invitation and Ministry Update, April, 2006

HI , this is Pastor. Jocelyn, I'm writing you in behalf of Sister Marydel..

This town is three hours away from where we are. She has planned to write you personally but due to the ongoing construction of the Church in our village, San Rafael, Mabini, Bohol, seems like it's near to impossible... We have currently 55 workers..and she has to help the foreman keeping an eye to the crew. When asks why she accepts even to high schoolers applicants (for their summer jobs), she readily replies " where can you find people who come to us for the gospel? as a contruction workers, they have no choice but to listen as w, the RH group preach the good news". and she meant it....there's no fooling around here under her leadership.. from the staff to the kids to the construction workers...for the RH, Christianity is a serious business ! ! ! To see what we are doing please consider the following :

The RH is inviting you and your church to join us in CELEBRATION JESUS during the upcoming vacation camp , May 16 through May 30, 2006. DEDICATION of the SHELTER Building (which will be fully completed in two weeks), the Church and the Learning Center (will be half way done by then) will also take place....

In it's connection, it is an honor and a blessing to have you with us during those days (any day between those dates are okey)...You will also be one of our key speakers. Please remember you are a partner of this ministry from the start, without which RH may not be existing..... Please inform your church as they are also invited.

Here is our short ministry updates... THE FIRE IS ALWAYS BURNING! .Though a smaller group as compared to Cebu (one of our prayers to God of Harvest is sending us more co-workers). We take advantage in handling

many mini Bible studies groups (around 6-7) to our construction workers. Our hope that one day many or one will spring up and walk fully with Jesus, thereby dedicating their lives to Him and to His kingdom..

Two days ago, a relative of one of our construction workers was attacked and killed by a snake.... we seized the opportuinty to condole and consoled the family, we took the privilege of witnessing to all who attended the bereaved family. many have invited Christ to their lives that night......

Because of that fellowship, we were invited to perform Bible studies and church service in their basketball court, which we start yesterday. . We're also having outreaches to distant villages to give them an equal opportunity to hear the message; in which we found three new areas where we have to walk one to three hours from our place ..GOD'S STRENGTH AND GRACE IS ALWAYS AMAZING. It is renewing our body every now and then especially when the tent is almost unbearably weakened.

Sincerest thanks to you for all your support.

God Bless!

RH, Sister Marydel and Ptr. Jocelyn
