Greetings.

I have an update on a few things.
We had our board meeting in San Diego and it was a really great time. You have a great Board representing you, leading the work.

I want to review a few items about Project New Hope International.

Our goal is to plant MANY church planting centers in MANY places in the same city at the same time.

We are currently starting in 6 barrios and planning to launch a University work next year. We are trying to find supporters for two more families.

We are doing the church planting using Latin missionaries, not U.S. missionaries.

We are not paying local pastors.

We are not building church buildings but working with local people to develop Community Centers which will serve our purposes too.

We are working/cooperting with Scripture in Use (www.scriptureinuse) and Medical Ambassadors International (www.medicalambassadorsinternational) to help in the training of our team, beyond what we are doing ourselves.

Our goal is to work in Partnership with leaders and common folks in Trujillo. We want Partnership not Ownership. There is an entire philosophy behind that we are seeking to carry out and it is already bearing fruit. For example we are completing paper work for the city; they want to GIVE us 10 sites to work on in the barrios. God is opening doors, and we believe it is a result of our different strategy.

We are working with different mission groups working in Peru, such as Bruce Peru, Compassion, etc.
